Lynnwood is a mature, uniformly residential neighbourhood in west Edmonton, developed largely through the 1950s and ’60s as part of the former Town of Jasper Place. Its name comes from “lynn,” a word for the wood of the linden tree — a fitting nod to the mature canopy and tree-lined streets that define it today.
